MAILTIME

I finally got all the four books I order in the span of 4 days.

That is….one book a day.

It was three books, which is part of a series; and a book that has nothing to do with the three, called Rapture (which also has nothing to do with religion, I must say).

OF COURSE, I got book #3 first, then I got Rapture, then #2, then #1.

I couldn’t read #3 or #2 without #1 so I just spend three days staring at the two books and reading Rapture.

When #1 did decide to join the party, I found, to my dislike, that it was packaged in two envelopes. Both of them wrapped in rather tough brown tape.

When I finally TACKLED though the stupid two, I found that the book itself was warped in ANOTHER envelope, this time it was WHITE with bits brown tape, hugging it.

Joy.

I’m just to lazy to try right know, so I WILL NOT.

It is currently sleeping in my bed.

I will open YOU tomorrow, #1.

Night.

Though I am horribly sick, I still manage to drag myself down to my SAT afterschool class. It is a blocked shaped building tucked neatly (or un-neatly) on a corner of a busy intersection. I was unleash at 6:30pm and stood outside, where the light was quickly fading.

With a pocket full of cough drops, I watch the cars past me.

Scarf-less, because it felt like a summer’s night.

And suddenly, everything seem so profound

Suddenly, I had a need to draw the night sky and it’s entirety. I wanted to catch a piece of this moment.

Can’t of course.

I think it’s the medicine thinking then. Damn cough meds.

I GUESS it’s just one of THOSE days.

I guess, it just has to happen. It comes a time when you wake up and meet the most terrible day you have ever had and the ONLY thing you have to say to that day is WTF and run right into it.

TODAY WAS THAT DAY.

So terrible, in fact, that it caused me to update my wordpress blog which I know no one reads, I’m sure.

This is a very rare day, folks. Rarerarerare like a golden ticket to Willy Wonka Candy Factory.

It’s one of those days that you feel like you are not really a person at all….but a number.

Sure, we ALL feel like that, sometimes, and that is because we are, my friend, we are.

And today, I feel like I’m 8235 instead of Millie Liu.

I have no face, no vaule, no soul. I am just something that is collected in bulk, processed, and SPIT back out to be another cog in the machine.

Pointless. I do not what to live my life as cipher, hell, I don’t even want to live the present as a cipher. I want to stand up when someone tells me to sit, I want to scream when some one tells me to shut up.

Even more and more it seems, I find school utterly pointless. I live everyday dreaming of the break in the current, live everyday dreaming of that idea of freedom.

I don’t want to live LIFE DREAMING OF A CHANCE TO BREATHE.

Never.

They are so poised.

They are so ready for me to say, “Art was a bad path”.

They are so ready to hear me admit, “I was wrong”.

They are so ready for me to tell them, “You were right all along. I should have listen”.

It’s too bad I have to disappoint them…because those words are never coming out of my mouth.

Life is wonderfull.

As I lay here on my bed with my robe on, I realize how lucky I am

Out of the 7 billion people in this word, how many people are as content as me? How many people are as privileged as me?

Not many, I assume.

What about the billion more living beings in this world? How fortunate am I to be a human and not some abn or fragile flower or plant.

I was lucky. And you are lucky. Just being able to type on my laptop makes me lucky. Just being able to beavth this air makes me ecstatic.

Drugs should not be need to make people happy. People should be happy with LIFE.

And. It’s time like this…I believe someone watching over us, smiling on us.  It’s times like these that I believe that there is a god.

Cleaning.

I finally cleaned my bathroom today.

It’s amazing. If I lived in my own apartment, I’ll never clean my bathroom.

However. For the past week, every time my brother had to use the bathroom, he would complain in a excruciatingly
loud voice about how tremendously dirty it is.

And it just so happens that my room is next to bathroom.

However. I also happen to have the power to IGNORE my brother’s voice. I have lived with him for so long, I have grown immune to his ultimate whining powers.

Unfortunately, he started to bang on my door, which I CAN’T ignore. Eventually, I said, “CLEAN IT YOURSELF! It doesn’t bother ME.”

Actauly…It did bother me….but nothing bothers me enough for me to do something about.

Anyways, in the end, I had no choice BUT to clean the damn bathroom. Higher powers became involved. (Namely, my parents.)

Nevertheless, everything is still my brother’s fault.

The bathroom wouldn’t be so damn dirty if he didn’t miss so much.

Update my Life ver 1.0

What happen…

• My older cousin, aunt and uncle is now living in the same roof as me
• I got cable Internet!
• …but no longer have a mouse
• BUT NO WORRIES! I have a laptop!
• However, I can’t draw on it at all…
• I got into 2nd period AP Studio Art, with extra hours from 3-5pm every Fri.
• I also got into Ryman Art, Intermediate level, with classes 1-4:30pm every Sat.
• I have Painting 7th period
• So that’s 2 good drawings for Ryman, 1 GREAT piece for AP Studio Art and some painting homework…
• …and SAT math classes two times a week, Tues. & Thurs. from 5-6:30pm.
• I am so damn tired.

What will happen…

• I will get a tablet. I WILL.
• pay the $80 art class fee. BY MYSELF.
• I will draw like no tomorrow. (that’s a given.)

CURRENT GOALS

• To get over a 4.0 this year
• To get a great SAT score
• To update AHH oekaki’s layout ^^
• To START on ‘Winter’s Day’

Future GOALS

• To get into ART CENTER
• To be the best ^^

BUT…AS OF RIGHT NOW…

• I think Robert E. Lee is fucking brilliant. For those who don’t know who he is, he wrote ‘Inherit the Wind’ and ‘The Night Thoreau Sent in Jail’. The later one is a book I’m currently reading and I’m in love with it. Henry Thoreau must be one of the most radical thinkers of his time. And to think that he wasn’t hang for witchcraft for his thoughts is amazing.
• “Art is overrated” my ass. *kicks chair* How dare that bastard say that. And to believe I actually LOOKED up to him! NEVER AGAIN. The only person I look up to now is ME.
• I love watercolors. I love the way they blend, the way they melt with water, the way their paper feel. I just love it. <3
